The Electronic Crime Partnership Initiative (ECPI)
was established and funded by the National Institute
of Justice to address the needs cited in the National
Institute of Justice Research Report
Electronic
Crime Needs Assessment for State and Local Law
Enforcement, published March, 2001. The ECPI is
comprised of Electronic Crime Subject Matter
Experts representing Law Enforcement, Academia
and the Private Sector from across the Country,
working in cooperation on projects and programs to
improve the capacity of State and Local Law
Enforcement to effectively address Electronic Crime.
