Child Internet Safety
The ECPI with the support of the National Institute of Justice is developing
plans for a Symposium on the Protection of Children on the Internet. We
plan to explore technology issues with Internet Service Providers and
Software Developers, Law Enforcement issues with the Criminal Justice
Community and the individual and community issues with Victim's and
Children's Advocates. One important goal of this Symposium is to assess
the current state of the existing efforts to protect children from exploitation
through technology, and determine if there are gaps in the ongoing efforts
and solutions.
